Spring King - Rectifier is our new #SOTW. The post-punk four piece from Manchester are still a relatively new addition to the scene having only released a handful of stand alone singles so far. Their journey picked up some momentum when their track 'City' got airtime with Zane Lowe on Beats 1 and since they have continued to ride the success wave. They recently released their debut album 'Tell Me If You Like To' on 10th June 2016 which is a compilation of their already released singles and some NEW material. The album was highly anticipated in the lead up to it's release with many media outlets like NME and Q touting it to be one of the best this year. The band have also announced their biggest UK headline tour to date this Autumn, heading to venues like KOKO in Camden and the O2 Academy in Oxford. Get yourselves down to one of their tour dates if you can. They also have a packed festival season ahead of them with Bestival, Boardmasters and of course Truck Festival where we will be checking them out in the beautiful Oxfordshire sunshine. If they're playing at any of your festival destinations this summer make sure you squeeze some time in to go see them. Rectifier is arguably the most renowned track on the album released back in February and it's certainly our pick, so give it a listen below and let us know what you think in the comments or just drop us a tweet @therockwolf1
