READING & LEEDS 2015 - STAGE TIMES & SECRET SET

Reading and Leeds Festival 2015 kicks off today with many of the events patrons making their way to their respective fields to erect their dwellings for the next few nights. Music does not officially start until tomorrow but many will be partying the night away at various Silent Disco Tents, around their campsites and with some sets being played tonight to warm up for tomorrow. The mysterious and quite frankly legendary aspect of Reading & Leeds that most festival goers love is its yearly tradition in providing a Secret Set where each year they hold back on releasing the act until the very last minute. Usually gossip spreads like wildfire around the campsites over the weekend, a few years back many even rumoured that the Arctic Monkeys would be the secret set act! I know how ridiculous is that! Over the years we have seen some impressive and prolific Secret Set Acts with: Greenday, The Crooked Vultures Jamie T all part of the infamous illusion. This year it has been rumoured that the Secret Set may infact be Foals amidst speculation from a statement made by Melvin Benn the festival organiser in which he said: "Wild horses wouldn't let me be able to tell you who the secret guests are. You can take from that whatever you want." Interesting stuff! This would make sense falling on the back of their latest album release 'What Went Down' which will be avaliable on our store when the site goes live next Monday so keep your eyes peeled for that.
