Dublin three-piece ‘Bitch Falcon’ take their snarling grunge rock to the next level with NEW video for “Syncope”. The rebellious lasses are dangerous, unpolished and well equipped to give the hell’s angels themselves a run for their money. Powerfully distorted riff chugs, slow dooming drums and sharp lead vocals give the track a venomous bite and rumbling presence that could crack the floor beneath you right down into the earth’s core. It’s in your face, like a gale force whirlwind of sharp metal bristles or a mouthful of magma. The video visually encapsulates the attitude of this songs sound as the band skate/ stomp around reaping havoc and spreading their anarchic rage. It’s all in light-hearted jest as they torment a poor young male at a bus-stop much reversing the age old white van man stereotype as they dance around and lick his face. We get the feeling these girls really don’t take anything too seriously with obvious exception to their music, that’s where the business happens. They continue their tirade stealing a poor picnicker’s food, bike and dignity before committing the unthinkable crime stealing a poor defenseless girl’s dog. They soon come to their senses as the guilt settles in and they see their wrong doings plastered all over the news. The video ends with them returning the dog and running off into the night!

The sound is borderline metal with those punchy riffs, and stomping flow. It’s mean and nasty personifying that big playground bully we all once encountered at a younger age. ‘Syncope’ is the soundtrack to that kid’s relentless torment; no one dare speak out against it! The ending of the video proves, however, that good deed always prevail as the rowdy bunch have realise the extent of their daring actions. The track packs more attitude than a 13 year old stoner; you’ll wanna cut the arms off your leather jacket and jump around with your devil horns raised to the ceilings. Vocally we hear a reminiscent tone of Allison Mosshart coming through; this is a track she’d definitely love to sing over! Bitch Falcon are dubbed as one of Dublin’s best live acts, if you ever get the opportunity make sure you go and see them perform. It’s rumoured that their live sets make the studio recordings look like a Peppa Pig birthday party complete with bouncy castle and jelly ‘n’ ice cream. Sounds interesting right…..
